Did you read about the discovery recently that bees can count; certainly up to three and maybe even four? While we can find many reasons for needing to count, we were not quite certain why busy bees would need to do the same. But count they can.

The online maths helper for families of primary children.

Radar Mathsclub has been created especially for the families of children of primary age. It is not a games and puzzle site, but a place where you can discover how numbers work and how you can carry out all of the mathematical operations you will encounter up to the age of eleven. Unless you know how, many of your maths lessons and many of the games and puzzles, will be inaccessible.

This is a site for families to enjoy together, but most children will be able to use areas on their own. Parents have their own area too. We have lots of resource sheets for you to print out: grid sheets, graph outlines, number sets and much more. If you need to understand what SATs questions look like at given levels; if you want to challenge yourself; if you need some daily mental maths practice; or are confused about some maths terminology, then it's all here at Radar Mathsclub. Give children a break, get them outside and play outdoor maths games in the garden. Talk about maths on the messageboard. Each month there are newsletters to keep you informed of updates and maths in the news.

Some areas are free for everyone to explore; but you get the full benefit of all areas by buying a small subscription. £16 per year covers use by all members of the family; or £13.50 per year if you buy a 2-year membership. Around the cost of a 2nd class stamp each week. That's great value.

There is no commercial advertising anywhere within this site.
